Ndi-Ichie Youth Cultural Foundation

igbofesthouston.org > Ndi-Ichie Youth Cultural Foundation

The Ndi-Ichie Youth Cultural Foundation exists to reclaim cultural capital where it has been damaged, diluted, or lost. We focus on children and young adults, those most impressionable and most in need of identity-anchored spaces that reinforce language, heritage, and pride.

Through Igbofest Houston, we activate a dedicated Kids Village designed to deliver structured, culturally experiences that produce measurable impact.

Our Impact at Igbofest Houston

  • 500+ children engaged annually in cultural programming
  • 20+ cultural performers and instructors are supported each year
  • 10+ structured language, dance, folklore, and heritage sessions delivered
  • Thousands of families are exposed to authentic West African traditions
  • Intergenerational learning spaces that strengthen community bonds

Why Your Support Matters

Your investment directly sustains:

  • Kids Village Programming – Igbo language sessions, traditional dance, storytelling, and heritage games
  • Cultural Performers – Fair compensation for tradition bearers preserving ancestral knowledge
  • Community Support Initiatives – Access, scholarships, and inclusive participation for families

By investing in youth, you help safeguard language, memory, and identity for the next generation.
